March Reading Wrap Up | 2021

Hello and welcome to my March reading wrap up for 2021! I was one book away from finishing my monthly reading goal of five books a month, BUT I did finish the month with some writing break throughs! I also really enjoyed the books I read! All were at least four stars out of five! I currently have 14 books out of 50 completed for my reading challenge! Let’s get into the books I read in March.

The CRAVE series by Tracy Wolff is my new favorite series! I love how quickly the author is cranking out these books! I started off reading CRAVE thinking it was a Twilight rip off, but it turned out to be great and all its own. I adore these books! They are tomes for sure, but filled with so much character focused story telling. Vampires, Dragons, Giants, Gargoyles and more! Romance, friendship, and a close relationship between two female cousins which I love so much! I highly recommend you give these a try if you enjoyed the Twilight books, and generally any kind of fantasy romance. The final book for this series comes out SEPTEMBER 28th of this year! I’m so excited to have this series finished before 2021 is over!
I read a physical hardcover copy of this book!

HAVENFALL by Sara Holland was the Read With Me book pick for March! I also read the second and final book that came after it! The books were short, but a fun adventure! It was an urban fantasy that focused on how our world is connected to other worlds by the use of portals.
I loved the concept of these books, I just wish they were longer. I wish there was more character depth, and I wish I could have seen the other worlds more instead of the little glimpses. I guess I’ve just grown accustomed to reading long books and spending more time with the characters. Don’t misunderstand me, I enjoyed these books, and I can definitely see myself re-reading them again the future!
If you want a quick read, and want an intro to some light fantasy definitely pick these books up! You’ll fly through them!
I read physical hardcover copies of both of these books!

This is the second book to the RAVEN CYCLE series by Maggie Stiefvater! After reading the first book THE RAVEN BOYS for my Read With Me book club for February, I decided to continue with the series. This book did not disappoint! I love how character driven this story is! I am completely invested and cannot wait to read the next book in the series BLUE LILY, LILY BLUE. The ending of this book was crazy and I loved it so much! I can understand why this series was so popular when it was on-going! You can’t not love these raven boys and the not-psychic girl!
I read my paperback copy of this book!

I’m glad I read books I enjoyed, and I’m looking forward to reading the books I have planned for April. I’m crossing my fingers that I’m not in a reading slump. Thank you for reading!
